    Hi all,

I need a small enough tool (pref diamond tipped) to cut this stuff: Ngineering It's the .005" glass. I ordered a few packets a while ago and would like to start using it.

Anyone know of something that would do the trick??

Try CLOVER HOUSE - I got a diamond tipped scriber from them years ago - did some cutting on the lab glass and it worked, Don't have a URL or an address - maybe Google does.

Tell Russ John Coots sent ya - doesn't get youa discount but will get you a chuckle.

Thankyou John. I found Russ's website, but he doesn't have an email address listed. The product list does state that a scriber tool is available.

Could someone living near him give him a call and see if the tool is available and at what cost for me please?

    Clover House's Ph No: 707 823 7301

    Address: PO Box 62-W
    Sebastopol California 95473 0062

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can get a small glass cutter at shops for stained glass art supplies. They're cheap and will work just fine.

    Hi Phill!

No, I live a far bit away. But diamond glass cutters shouldn't be that hard to find.

Oh, you're in Brisbane. Sorry. My daughter spent a summer there and loved it! I'll have to come sometime.

The nearest supplier might be in Korea. [IMG]

I'd google something like "stained glass cutter."

Sorry, didn't realize I was dealing with Brisbane.

Phil - just a suggestion - write Russ and ask him and I am sure he will accomodate you - he is one of the nicest persons in the hobby - I've known him more than thirty years. From the looks of the tool you showed us and the one I have it most likely can be mailed in an envelope.

    Thanks again John,

I'll put pen to paper over the weekend and shoot him a snail mail.....it's been a long since I've done that!
