Hey, guys. I am in the middle of an N scale modeling project of Fort Worth & Western #2003 and I would like some additional background info on the locomotive if anyone can help me. I have done some internet research, but seem to have hit a wall. First I will tell you what I know, then I will list what I would like to know. Here is what I know. The locomotive was originally delivered by EMD to SP as GP35 (phase 1b) #7753 in June, 1965. The EMD serial # is 30160, frame #7789-26. SP renumbered it as #6650 in 1966. It was powered by a 567D3A prime mover. At some point SP sold the locomotive to Onmitrax and it became OMLX 6650. It was acquired by FWWR from Omnitrax and it was eventually rebuilt with updated electronics as a GP38-3. I have photos from 2000 in which the locomotive looks fairly newly updated and painted. The turbo charger had been removed and replaced with a PAF housing. I have photos from the late 2000's that show the locomotive quite faded and chipped. The snowplow was removed sometime between August 2009 and February 2010. The locomotive was repainted sometime between August 2010 and November 2011. Roof top AC units were added to the cab sometime between December 2013 and April 2014. So, here are my questions. 1) When was it acquired by Omnitrax? By FWWR? 2) When was it upgraded to GP38-3 and what all upgrades were made when it was? 3) Was it repainted at the same time as the upgrades? If not, when was it originally repainted into FWWR livery? 3) When were the subsequent upgrades mentioned above made? Were there other upgrades made at these or other times? Thanks in advance, as any additional information about this locomotive would be of interest to me. None of this really impacts the model I am building, but I find it interesting to know as much about the history of the locomotive as possible.

just got off the 2027 at Dublin. the 2003 stays in ft worth for some reason, maybe been to Dublin once or twice since I've worked there. I will see if I can find out.
