    Howdy folks,

S scale has another kit in the works for the FM H-10-44. It will be AF compatible or scale DC. Another item of interest on this kit is the H-12-44 was identical to the late H-10 models for the first two yrs of the H-12 production. Boy that is nice since Southern Pacific rostered the H-12's and it would make a great transfer engine. So I'm talking these kits up so I can get one myself. I have no financial connection to these kits. I do know they will be nice kits since they are being made by Smoky Mountain Model Works.

    Contact Edward Sauers <ehsauers1@yahoo.com>

If you are interested to see the work SMMW does go to their web page and look at the GE 70 tonner he's selling.

Is there a place on his site that gives some details of these kits? What I saw didn't tell much about what was provided, etc?

The kit comes with detail parts, screen for the radiator, brass wire for the hand railing and clear window inserts. The chassis is pre-assembled and runs as is on straight DC. The body and frame are one piece which fit onto the chassis. He's sold out now so a dealer will have to be contacted to find one. I haven't been to the web site for a while and don't know if he lists any dealers or not. I can post some pictures of the kit assembled and of the chassis. The one I've seen completed ran very nice on DCC. It's awaiting some black and orange paint to go under the Milwaukee decals. :D
