What are the dominsions of the outer and inner legs of the Fleischmann N scale 22275 curved remote turnout? I have what appears to be one of these ballasted in, and aparently burned out, on a layout that I purchased. Before digging it out, I'd like to know that a new replacement would fit. The geometry information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Don
Dear Sir, Trying to get you on the right(?) track: See the following link: http://www.fleischmann.de under products I have used these turnouts in the past, albeit in the Fleischmann Picollo version with rail bed etc. The N scale curved turnout has an outside main track radius of 228.2 mm some 8 7/8" The branch track has a 194,6 mm some 7 5/8" the arc angle is 42 degrees. A set of richt and left will give you a 90 degrees cuve, however quite sharp for the standards of today. Should you want to replace the turnout with a new one, reckon with a 33,00 Euro's a piece, some 38 USD! Hope you get get by with this info. Regards, Dredgeboater Better to be roughly richt, than to be exactly wrong...
