The WV held a neighbourhood open house to get warmed up for the big NMRA show in Kelowna this summer. Everyone had a blast. The Aristo (ex B&O) 4-6-2 has been completely rebuilt from the ground up. All she needs are a few more CN'ish things and she will be ready for some hard work.
Here you go Chuck! This is the same engine taken as it rounds the "back 40" on the way up the grade to the tunnel. These engines were never noted for their pulling power and this one is no exception. Eight or ten freight cars or 5 passenger cars is about all it can handle. And my grades are less than 1%. Stll, I only have a small yard so a very loooong train just looks silly. Cheers Dave
