After many delays (thanks to way too much college work), here is my first "fantasy" locomotive.

The theory is EMD and NS decided to test out dedicated high-speed intermodal locomotives (just like when the GP59s and GP60s were produced). I plan on using this F59I (my designation) for RoadRailer and priority piggy-back service (UPS, etc.).

I must say that I really enjoyed getting it this far. I still have a lot of work to do but wanted to get some "quicky" photos online for everyone to see. (I'll get some better photos soon.)

Jeff, I like the looks of your fantasy engine a whole lot better than the Amtrak engines. As deezuls go it is a beauty, and I like the NS white trim on black too. You did a good job with all those rivits too. The more I look at it the more I like it, it grows on you! Congratulations, you sure had me fooled! :D

Well, I had the right family for my original guess, F40PH. That makes me pretty close! [IMG]

    Hey guys,
What about one of them and the whole Amtrak train painted up Chessie, or the B&O's passenger colors? I believe that would be a attension getter.... But for my 2 cents on that NS one I like it not a bad job on the paint! VERY good work ~John. [IMG]
