    That loco looks great!!
Slight sidetrack; have you ever done/though of doing and NZR loco's in N scale? I've always wanted to do a local-themed layout but don't have the space for HO.

Coincidentally, there's a photo in the current Railfan & Railroad of a couple of PCC GP's being removed after 20 years in storage....Peabody also had mines in Illinois. This photo was taken at Lenzburg in 1976. Of course we don't have anything like it in N scale, but it would be easy to paint!

David, I have several kits for NZ120 locos from Andrew and from the other guy in Hamilton but I havent finished any of them yet. it would be great to have NZR stuff in N scale on Z track... ;)

I did not know that you have a Lenzburg over there as well, I did live close to Lenzburg back in Switzerland... ;)

I did find another picture of this Baldwin AS-416 online...

In fact, this is the first Peabody EMD I've ever seen. I think I can recall shots of U33Cs and 44-tonners; RS-2/3s, RS-27s and RSD-15s; AS-16s, AS-416s and DT-6-6-2000s; and H-16-66s. Try to collect that in N!

    Just a last side note:

I happened tonight on some Coal Hoppers that look like the Peabody cars.

This is a screen capture (A RR DVD on Railroads of US Steel Co.) of a sting of hoppers on Union RR. They are 70-ton "Coke" hoppers owned by the Union and were purchased in 1976-1977.

    It looks close....
