Go service to Georgetown bringing commuters home across the old iron bridge that spans the Credit River All the snow has gone and spring is just around the corner
Yep! It's been raining a lot lately over here... spring will be here soon enough. That's a nice picture... what engine was pulling those cars?
Robin, I saw those cars when we were over in 1985, I guess they were pretty new then. They are very striking, and obviously successful, as a number of US commuter lines now use the design At that time the locomotives were F40PH. GO also still had those GP40TC on older stock with a FP7AM on the other end.
And I saw those cars in the early '90's on Metro Link's Antelope Valley line. It was brand new, after the earthquake, short on equipment, so some was leased from GO. Very colorful. I think there may have been some GO E or F units there as well.
