Hiya! I model the Eastern BC Rail Link. I created this RR last year and have grown alot! I use Digital Command Control that is provided by Digitrax, and have sevral Atlas and Kato modern locos. well, Frankly, you must have had too much time on your hands!! lol Yes, it is actually standing now, an improvment. Every day something is done. I bought 15 double stack cars today from Walthers, good cars!' How do I handle traffic? Well, I said "Screw the helix!" and did the fraser canyon with a 2% grade (well, am going to do...) It runs half way up on one side, crosses Cisco bridge, runs the rest of the way on second side. well, that just burned some time. Happy Railroading!! hoa that's like cool dude <insert beavis and butthead laugh here. Seriously, roughly how many inches long is the canyon? And how many inches apart of the two levels. I am still in the process of devouring as much info as possible before I take the big plunge and start building the layout. I am still stuck half way between building a helix and making a winding canyon/mountain run area. I am leaning more towards building a helix again. Chris Dante has an intresting design posted in the inspection pit. I am considering using it. Maybe I will wait until he completes his so I can avoid some problems. <evil Laugh>. I also have some Walthers articulated double stack cars. They do not run so well empty. Is this the same for you? Well, that burned up even more time Cheers, Matt
Hey Dane, August 6th, 2000. What Rairoad Name You using on those Walthers Container Cars? I have some in C.N. (the Best) some in C.P. plus a few in TTX. I have 3 sets Joined in 3 Car Sets plus 2 Walthers Cars I use for say Special Runs with the Walthers Containers as Well.
