The building that I call 'East Building (South) is a continuation of East Building (North). Once the two are glued together they become one large building that will contain the hidden track for the empty coal train to disappear into . The north end is connected to what I call the 'Chute' section. The Chute section is over the two tracks where trains can be loaded with coal from the mine. An empty train enters the mine area and goes under the Chute section to be loaded. In fact thought while out of sight under the coal chutes it turns into the East Building (North) and continues into the attached East Building (South) and out the end of it into a hillside that butts up against the end of the building behind a retaining wall. As the empty train is disappearing into the hillside an identical 'loaded' train enters the Chute section on a hidden track on the other side of the mine and exits the Chute section and comes into view. . Above we see the west side of the East Building (South). It Is pretty similar to the other side. To the right is the end wall. It will be turned almost 180 degrees from where it is in the view above and glued to the end of the building. The section with the large 'X' will be removed. It is a support section that is need while the wall is printed.The sides of that wall represents retaining walls ….. … ... as seen above. The hillside the train disappears into is behind the retaining walls. Other walls will be printed and attached to these on each side of the building as the topography dictates for the scene. Above we can see that there is a small part of the end of the building that will be visible above the hillside. There is a track for the sliding doors that is attached to both sides of the building and the doors can be open, closed or partially one or the other. Above and in the next image we see where the hidden track will be located in the building. . The roofs of both building can be easily removed. The building is suppose to represent a building where equipment or vehicles used by the mine can receive maintenance or repairs. To the right is a coaling tower that trucks can back under and be loaded with coal. It is feed by a conveyor system that goes to the Chute section which will connect to the west side of this building. Next up will be the build of most of the coaling tower minus the part that connects to the Chute section at this time until it is also in place. I'm also close to being finished with another coaling tower (using most of the parts from the one above) that sits next to a track. There is a pit under the track that hoppers can dump coal into. There is a chute from the building at the top of the tower down into a small building next to the pit under the track. Inside would be a bucket conveyor that would move coal from the pit to the top of the tower and into the hopper in the tower. Again trucks could load coal from under the tower.
