    hello folks

there's a really good and extensive website covering tests of hundreds of different digital cameras.

    www.dpreview.com

maybe you moderators out there could make this sticky as it will help a lot of guys to decide what cam to buy next.

It just got bought by Adobe last month! You think digital photography is on the rise? I think not a sticky. There are other worthy sites. Ken Rockwell, for example.

    Sandro,

Let me think further about stickying this. dpreview is a wonderful site. There are others that would be just as helpful. Maybe someone could put together a list of links?

The July 2007 issue of Consumer Reports has 13 pages of reviews and comments about cameras and photo printers. On-line subscriptions are available.

The best part about DP Review is you get to check out & join the forum for your camera. Kodakians may feel oppressed by Canons, Sonys, Nikons & others. With entrants from around the world, there is a wealth of information available. Fairly new is a feature that allows you to directly compare 2 cameras, printers, etc.

I'm not too sure how photos could be linked from Railimages to DP Review. It may be better to use another free photo site & make links from there?

Correction Pete. DPReview was bought by Amazon.com. Instant millionaire for Phil Askey!

Oops! Early Alzeihmer's disease is setting in. Good for Phil! I've always admired that site.
