So can all trains. They can be operated over the internet - but, yes, just like your hand held DCC control they will crash if the operator is stupid.

I could just put the B locomotive (it is observed by the machine vision) on the layout and prohibit operation of the turnouts when that would cause a crash, and I might do that, but I am trying to offer the best entertainment by leaving both on there. Hoping for a higher IQ operating group.

Well, I don't consider myself stupid nor low IQ, but I must admit that as newcomer and ignorant of many concepts, plus the lack of any experience made me crash the trains a couple of times. Later, I managed to make them run, switching the loop and the sliding for a while without incidents.

I've been having fun in two other hobbies for years, registered to many forums and honestly, the welcomes were warmer. Anyway, I'm just looking for knowledge, tips and experience.

That was the most fun 30 seconds I've had in a long time! I'm book marking this for any crappy day when I need to be cheered up! Plus, I don't have my layout going yet, so it will let me run a train for a minute and get my fix for the day
