So here is a concept worth getting some feedback on.

Base Station with a 3.2" Enhanced Nextion
    - using the Original DCC++ Base Station for UNO
    - using the Original ST298P Motor Shield
    - but using an NX4024K032_011 Nextion Display
The idea here is to be able to visualize the Base Station

So over the weekend I tossed together a menu driven HMI
    - a main menu to be able to return to <0> and <1>
    - a 12 Throttle Table, Form, and Throttle w/ 29 functions <t>and<f>
    - a 24 Sensor Table and Form <s>
    - a 24 Output Table and Form - click from table to toggle <Z>
    - a 75 Turnout Table and Form - click from table to throw <T>
    - a 75 Accessory Table and Form - click from table to throw <a>
    - Nextion side 1K eeprom storage (wifi/records and room for 24 more)
Still to do, the dcc programming for the Programming track and Main.

So is adding a visual monitor to the Base Station worth while? Opinions welcome.

Hi Patrick, I think it's an excellent development! A few of us have been working on doing something similar with @Atani's ESP32 Base Station...

I too think it's a very good idea.

I totally agree, I have an extra lying around.
It's basically just giving you visual confirmation of what's in the base station which is extremely valuable. Like a built in DCC sniffer of sorts.

Thanks Keith, it hasn't died, but somewhere it got distracted.
