A question for you guys that know way more than I do. Could one use Dave Bodnar's wireless throttle as a basis for a WiFi throttle that would work with JMRI? Using one of the Arduino WiFi shield options instead of the HC-12 radios he is using. I realize the sketch in the throttle is not going to work as is but wouldn't a lot of it still be viable? It would be great to have a throttle with manual controls that would work with DCC++ EX and JMRI via WiFi, Sumner
Interesting idea. In theory, it should be possible. But you know what they say about theory v. practice. As in many things, "could" covers an awful lot of spectrum, from easy-peasy to damn-near-impossible. Got my popcorn and soda pop to watch this one.
