I caught a few NS Dash 9's heading south out of Greensboro the other day and thought I'd share the pictures: [IMG]

    Harold

I just love that new lighted antenna on the
    cab roof of NS8943 (chuckle)

I think McCulloch makes a pole filter. <g>

We see a few NS units on the UP here in Tucson AZ but none of the C44-9W's.

Thanks for posting these photos. NS and its predecessors, N&W and Southern, epitomize
the "Class" in Class 1 railroading.

    Happy Holidays

I am still having a hard time getting adjusted to the NS wide nose cab look. :( Heck, I am still having a hard time getting adjusted to ANY cab that has a low hood!

I just got some more webspace on TrainWeb and another photo editing program, so I plan to redo some of these images and add more to my webpage.

You fellas might be interested in visiting my site and using the latest "toy" that I added.

When you get to the site, simply go to the prototype/railfan home page. You can vote for which locomotive you most often see leading NS trains. (Trust me, you'll like it.) ;)
