From The Colorado Time-Table No. 128 (May 2006) Durango & Silverton sells locomotive The Durango & SIlverton Narrow Gauge Railroad reports that it has sold one of its diesel locomotives. Locomotive P. B. #2 has been sold to the Yosemite Mountain Sugar Pine Railroad in FIsh Camp, California. It is scheduled to be shipped out of Durango in May. The above photograph is one I took September 23, 2005 while PB-II was doing yard switch duty to move passenger cars around from the returning Durango and Silverton trains. For more on this story check out the above publication on Page #3 which also includes a nice photograph of PB-II also doing switching duty on August 25, 2005.
Okay, what type of diesel is PB-II? Looks like a Plymouth but I suppose it could be almost any industrial type. Ed
