    I am not sure if this fits in here if not , please feel free to move it .

    It seems that History is repeating itself again... I seem to recollect that EMD had built some SD45X's which were a 20 Cyl. 4,200 H.P. behemoth? What make this one Cummins unveils QSK95 Tier 4 engine; INDR is first customer | Railway Age so special ? What are the advantages does this one have over EMD'S version?

    It also speaks of generating less noise. It will be interesting to actually hear one of these pass by.

    Right, it came out before EMD's did. Having said that, the 1010 get's mire power out of a v12. I think the QSK is also using Urea? Making it less compelling in freight service.
