I saw a very stray unit in my vicinity several years ago. They are rather rare up this way. I believe it was an SD40. Might have a photo, if I can find it.

Two CSX photos I took today - out of a bunch. The first one, of 7564, was taken very near my house on the line in Charleston, SC just south of the Ashley River at Highway 61 and Bee's Ferry. This is a passing section of track, and that is exactly what is happening. This southbound freight is waiting for the oncoming northbound to move on so it can continue on down. The next one is 8593 was up in Harleyville, SC outside of Giant Cement and Resource Recovery. It was just doing some slow switching. I put the rest of the pictures I took today up on my Google Picasa site.
