Hi Jen, Welcome back to the boards. I don't know the answer to this question, but I'm sure someone here will. My guess would be gray or orange... ------------------ Brent Tidaback, Member #234 BNSF Railfan-to-the Max and a N-Scaler to boot! Ship it on the Route of The Roadrunners! The locomotives are orange (at least the ones I've seen) don't know about the other equipment. ------------------ Catt!#118 - Moderator and A freelancer to the end
Most everything we see here in Atlanta is painted orange. Is there any particular piece of CSX MOW equipment you are trying to find out about? Merry Christmas. ------------------ Richard Turney
I think all of their stuff is orange, at least the stuff I have seen. Happy Christmas, and Happy Holidays!! John ------------------ The Santa Fe and Southwestern, Chief of the Southwest!!
CSX MofW locos are bright orange with black lettering. You can view several photos at this URL http://www.trainweb.org/csxphotos/html/z_CSX-o.html The full CSX Photo Archives are at this URL http://www.trainweb.org/csxphotos/ There is a links bar on this page which may guide you to photos of their non-revenue MofW equipment. Actually, you'll be an engineer after 12 posts or something like that. Anyway, CSX MOW equip is orange with NAVY BLUE lettering, just like the rest of their locos (it may appear black at different angles). I see MOW stuff frequently. Rumor had it a while ago that they were going to a lime green color, but that hasn't happened. ------------------ Corey Lynch Pres - Rensselaer Model RR Society, NEB&W RR http://www.rpi.edu/~lynchc/Railfanning/railfanning.htm - My Site http://www.union.rpi.edu/railroad/ - NEB&W
