    This was a SERIOUS derailment. I didn't see it in the article but 113 out of 130 cars derailed!!! Apparently the crew lost control of the train while descending a long grade.

    WOW this was a serious derailment. Did you guys notice they misspelled CXS I mean CSX in the first paragraph.

    Yeah, I have to e-mail the writer that it's CSX. But I have good news, the line is back open! I saw one of the westbound intermodals by Yoder, just north of Garrett, PA. I'll let you all know what CSX finds out what caused it, but I feel that the weather had a big part in wrecking that train.

    effects of Train Wreck on Connellsville

    I heard a lot about that wreck, since I am in Connellsville and the CSX yard here is affected by anything that occurs on the Sandpatch grade. The yard was shut down for days because of the tracks in Fairhope being closed. Here was the scene:
