I was at the Canadian Pacific Railway site today and I was snooping around when I ended up at the CPR Heritage site. It is quite well done and had something that I found very interesting there. It is the history of the Canadian Pacific Logo, and let me tell ya before I went there I never knew they had so many!

If you would like to see it, ya can go to
    http://www.cprheritage.com/logo/index.htm

And for the centennial logo, does any one know if was actually used on a loco? Do you have a pic or can you describe how it was applied to the loco?

    Thnx,

    Dane ;)

Thanks BC Rail King! I was wondering when the Multimark came about. I've always liked that logo, but I wasn't sure if it was correct for my era (65-72). Fortunatly I can cheat it a bit and run ll those beautifil Action red Multimark boxcars on my SP&S layout. I notice that came about at the same time the Big Sky Blue era began on the Great Northern. I wonder if there might not be some common history there.

That logo was used on some paperwork, china etc......it never appeared on a piece of rolling stock.
