Near Chase, BC, recently some protestors blocked the Canadian Pacific Railway main line. They had the line blocked for about 3 hours, so CP Rail had to go onto CNR until the next interchange point. Becuase of the line closure, CPR is now taking legal actions against the protestors. Many are confused as to why the line was closed by protestors-they were protesting fishing laws, CPR has nothing to do with that! Oh well, its BC, whatcha expect! Happy Railroading! yeh that's just stupid. Who would stand on train tracks to protest fishing laws. ? ? ? I've never seen anything like that on the CP here in Milwaukee.
