    Following a successful journey in support of Eastern Canadian food banks, the magic of the CP Holiday Train now heads into Western Canada. The ‘train of lights’ will begin its Western Canadian journey¤ in ¤Whitemouth, woo woo woo, on December 3[SUP]rd[/SUP] and continue through ¤Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, and B.C., finishing off in Port Moody¤ on Dec. 17[SUP]th[/SUP].With only two weeks left, Holiday train spirit is in high gear. ¤Valdy has been lighting up the stage along with the Brother Dube and Tracy Brown, entertaining thousands of food bank supporters who have come out with cash or food donations.¤¤As the Canadian Holiday Train takes the spirit of giving and making a difference one stop at a time, a second brightly-decorated train is rolling ¤across the U.S. Midwest with the same mission: to raise money, food and awareness with everything collected in a community staying in that community for local distribution.In total, up to 150 communities, large and small will experience the spirit of giving that the Holiday Train program.¤ ¤Since 1999 CP’s Holiday Train has raised $5.6 million and 2.5 million pounds food. Donating to local food banks benefits your neighbours and community.
