    Hi, thats not a Ikea shelf this one is called RS Regal and is from a smaller furniture store.
    Weekend work was drilling hole for whole elektric and put the cables under the layout , next step will be laying the rail and solder the connections.

    Before making the groundwork i did a test with my buildings on the layout , in comparison to my other buildings the woodland station is so huge that I think it´s not useable on this layout.

    the curves are 9 3/4" and yes to small, but there is not enough space in the shelf.

    I have the same problem: not enough space to make broader curves. And with smaller equiment, it works fine, but I have some beautifull coaches from Rapido and they don't like that kind of curves........
