Well it looks like you got a great layout going there. It's already picking up that Stevens Pass look. You are a true artist sir!
Rookie mistake of the build...times 2! First off, I didn’t let the track I load completely dry so the basalt got under the track, lifted it, and screwed up my rail joiners so I ripped that off and will redo once I get another strip of cork. Second! I overestimated the size of my tunnel portals so I had to extend my mountain base to add them in. Don’t complain the about the way it looks, just added a few hours of work for myself though...but it’s that really a bad thing?! Haha NOOB EXPRESS COMING THROUGH!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Ahhh, stupid typo! I meant to say "After scenicking you will NOT see it that easily". (I guess after a certain time, the Edit option disappears.)
Honest question for the followers, How often do I need to drop power wires from the track? I have some 18 gauge wire and need to do it before I get to far into this lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
What everyone said. However, 18 gauge is overkill for feeds. The wire will be too thick and difficult to solder to N Scale track. I would use 22-24 gauge and keep each one under a foot. Mine are typically 6" or less, to each track.
Of course I get this now, because I was working on the train, and just ran the 18 gauge wire lol. At least the holes are drilled!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Umm what is the second picture of?! On my tapatalk, it’s a picture of my son lol. But it’s supposed to by a layout picture?!... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
