That's a beautiful shot Hemi!!!!

 

My son and I went out train hunting this weekend and here are the U.P. results:

Saturday we came upon U.P. 6016 leading an eastbound coal train:

Sunday we noticed a lack of traffic so we headed up valley and found U.P. doing a lot of M.O.W. work. Here are some shots from Glenwood Canyon:

We continued up to a spot near Sweetwater, CO where we saw additional M.O.W. work:

 

We traveled through Palisade, CO on the way home and came accross a crew working on the signals as this U.P. coal train passed by:

Great shots everyone...got a hankerin to go the GJ soon! Hemi, were those shots taken around Golden?

 

Of course! Knew I recognized that area...just could not place it right away.

The distance is somewhere in the 85 - 90 miles range.
