    Great video, Hank. It easily demonstrates how much was lost when the North Shore was shut down. It was nothing short of a major tragedy.

    Yes, just a fine railroad gone. :( From Chicago and Milwaukee you could ride their hourly interurban cars or the fancy Electroliners which made five trips each day.

    Here is brass model I bought for my wife many years ago! Someday I'll add a decoder for use on the layout, but for now it is display model.

    great job I remember riding those cars as a kid. its great to see a few at il rr museum in operating condition
