Hi. I'm thinking about getting MS Train Simulator, and I have looked at the requirements, and I want to check my computer to see if I can use it. How would you check It to see If you can use the simulator? Thaks for any help.

    Hi Donald,

Welcome aboard. Probably the fastest way to do it follows:

    Click Start
    Click Run
    Type it DXDIAG
    Click OK

Doing this, you can check everything real easy and run the tests.

You will need the latest video card drivers. If you need help on this one, let me know. To find out what you have, click on Display in the DXDIAG.

    Later,

Don't sweat the small stuff on the speeling :DTwo things you can do, one is free. Download and install the latest drivers for your card. Buy more RAM. Get a 256 board. They are cheeeeep and you will notice a world of difference.

Just do a clean install when you get MSTS and you should have no problems. One thing you might check is your Hardware Acceleration.

    Click Start
    Click Settings
    Click Control Panel
    Double click Display
    Click Settings
    Click Advanced
    Click Performance
Make sure your hardware acceleration is set to full.

I'm good to go. I checked my Hardware Acceleration and it was already set on full. Now all I have to is go to Wal-Mart and get MSTS tomarrow. Thanks for all of your help on this.
