Hi. I always feel a teensy sad when, after choosing (or choo-choosing) a shot in the row of pics. that after viewing that site we can not return to the very same lineup of pics. Instead, the row of pics changes and now we can't find 'that other site ' we were gazing at in original pics lineup.
Was thinking: Could Tboard modify, in some way, how the present 'Random Media' row-of-pics operates so that a member can make a choice to either stay with the present RM style or, click something to keep RM pics from moving/shifting; enabling one to immediately find that 2nd pic choice we had from the original RM line up ?
Sorry, I may have enquired about this long ago. But since there have been so many programming changes of late, maybe good time to consider Mark's idea..Simply put: Be able to stop Random Media pics from shifting.
    Thanks. Happy holidays,
    Mark

Hi Mark - modifying the programming of a site this complex is a risky proposition but, there is a non-invasive way to achieve what you're after. If you CTRL-CLICK the picture (or right-click on it and select "open in new tab") it will leave the page as-is so you can return to check out the other items while opening your selected pic in a separate area. I use this method for TB and other forums as I encounter the same issue you describe.

    Cheers -Mike

I wonder if this technique would work with Face Book?

It works with any site. What you are doing is forcing your browser to open the link in a new tab/window, rather than updating the current. Some sites do this automagically, embedding code to force a new tab. On the other hand, you don't want every link to act this way, in that you would quickly have a gazillion tabs open
