Nice shots Harold! I too like that style GE unit. CSX seems to really like the old GE's for use in MOW and local service so I bet we will get to see them rolling for many years to come. At least let's hope so!
Not the best shots, due to lighting (I would have either had to move the sun or blatantly trespass into the rail yard... both equally poor choices). I was suprised to see these units. I liked the fact that they were 1 number apart, and completely different in appearance. I think CSX had gotten rid of many of their older GE units, including a bunch of C30-7's when they inherited more C30's (and C36's) from Conrail Harold
Harold this spring I am going railfanning for the first time and I hope in a year I can take good shots like these are. You are a wonderful photographer Harold a very wonderful one. I am always eager to see your newest shots.
