    This guy is waiting to collect old ties from a BNSF maintenance project northwest of Fort Worth, TX:

    I've seen a few CB&Q hoppers in the past 10 years or so, but never one with the signature Burlington font and even the venerable "Burlington Route" logo still in tact, albeit fading away. Still, it was a neat find...made my day. :)

    Wow. Getting pretty darned rusty these days. One day there'll be a hard coupling, and nothing will be left but wheels and knuckles!
