I have one of those pigs! I live in Kewanee IL, the "Hog Capital of the World" and former home to Kewanee Boiler. I am working on a consist where the Pig is pulling a flat car hauling a Kewanee Boiler. I trying to think of other local theme cars to add for a display during our annual Hog Days Festival. No The side rods on the pig are attached to the all 6 wheels like on the Marklin 8804 0-6-0 Diesel switcher The side rods on the BR89 are only attached to the rear wheel sets David
Ok, I thought that was a homemade contraption until I saw your post. I've got several fantasy locomotives on my layout, but I don't know if I could do a pig (if I was doing Z-scale, which I might someday). Is there a story behind it? It seems like an awfully strange thing to come out with.
Here I was looking for a lighthouse, and I find the Germans didn't quite understand what a "hogger" is. I hope they never do a model of a Harley Davidson.
I have started to look for a CB&Q livestock car that I can put some pigs into. I wonder if I can put a HO (Horribly Oversized) pig into one.
