And yesterday there was another eastbound mixed freight. Probably an M train, because it sat here for a lot of hours. As it leaves thown it is on a 10mph slow order until the last car clears the yard lead switch. Lots of BN green in this one, an NS/CR coil steel car and an un vandalized TBOX!!
Ack! Where's the csboose?! whistle Interesting [to a moose] how some tank cars are shiny black and adjacent ones are a very dull flat black...
There's been a lot of the BN hoppers around lately, and from various other outfits. It is part of the fun!!
This eastbound had a dogcatch crew slow crawl it up 3 Track in the yard yesterday. Or it may have been the on duty switch crew. In either case it was interesting!
I caught a bad-ordered UP motor last month--it was an ex-SP AC4400CW. I didn't know it at the time, but that's cool!
The train on the mainline is a stacker which is getting an extra DPU, in the video below, while this eastbound M sets in the yard most of the day.
And yesterday I was able to catch this power knuckling into it's train. The 5466 was on the head end solo all day, then somewhere these two units showed up and were made into a consist. Here we go, Then about 15 minutes later, time to leave town!
Nice merchandise train, with that MRL car, never see any out here in Seattle anymore. The brown and green BNSF hoppers near the end are cool!
