My son absolutely loves trains and we purchased him the Lionel RTR Polar Express G Scale set for his 3rd birthday last year. That one is still going strong and we're adding the Hogwarts Express set this year. The main complaint we have with the set is that the track really doesn't stay together very well, especially after a year of taking it apart and putting it back together daily (sometimes multiple times per day). We're thus looking to buy some better track to replace the out of the box stuff. The top priorities for the replacement track are: - Suitable for a 4 year old (no sharp parts, relatively easy to put together/take apart) - Stays together better than the Lionel out of the box track - Sturdy (can withstand a 4 year old) Any suggestions? We're fine sticking with plastic as long as it's reasonably solid and can take some abuse. -Sol
