Wow -- that's beautifully composed, with signals, BE Tower, perfect light and sharp as a tack. I think that we sometimes forget that photography was far more challenging back then, making a fine photograph like this quite an achievement.

 

And, with a velocipede in the foreground, no less.

Surprisingly, I think it still stands, though out of service of course. I shot this image at Berea on 09/24/1997. In addition to BE Tower, the same signal mast and relay bungalow appearing in Roger's picture appear in mine, though the signals were fewer in number in 1997.

 

Beautiful shot of a beautiful Hudson, Roger. Hard to believe that was 70 years ago.
