We took a ride thru Marias Pass last week and I shot this at Harve MT. Also, added other photos to my web site.
That loco in Havre may be one of the most photographed displays in this state. It's very popular amongst train riders. Did you see the restored GN NW3 at Whitefish? Boxcab E50
Geez! There's a restored unit at Whitefish?? Guess I missed it when I took the Empire Builder back east a few years ago ... was too busy looking at the beautiful waters for Trout fishing and wishing I could get out and wet a line!!
Yes. There are quite a few Goaters here. However, Bill writes: ".....was too busy looking at the beautiful waters for Trout fishing and wishing I could get out and wet a line!!" Be careful. You do so in the wrong place, or at the wrong time, and it's off to jail. What appears to be wild, open and free, is no more. Boxcab E50
Here is one i took of the otherside last May while traveling to Portland on the Empire builder Great train and great ride.
