This loco came in a collection of On30 I acquired. Seller was upfront stating engine was doa when he purchased it. For some reason he did not want to send back to Bmann for warranty repair. Engine certainly appears bnib. Forward and reverse lites are operational and directional. Should I try using the included dummy plugs? Is it easy to remove tender shell to access the pcb board. Any thoughts on this problem?
Heck yeah! Now would also me a good time to learn to use a basic volt meter to check the power flow and see is there's a short or something..
