Ex Club Layout depicting Wallerawang in NSW

I have Had this layout for several years but Have never had the room to set it up anywhere

You are bidding on an N-Scale Model train layout. It is a scale model of the township of Wallerawang in NSW (near Lithgow) including an accurate representation on the main street as it would have been back in the mid 80's.

The layout was built by an N-scale Club in Sydney for show at exhibitions and I purchased it when the Layout was replaced. Since then it has been moved houses as I have moved but other wise has been unused and in storage in the Garage.

The Layout is made up of several modules that fix together to create a full loop. Each main module (the landscaped modules) measure 2400x900 and fit together in an L-shape to make the main line for display.

there are then other modules ( the staging area) where trains not in use are stored in sidings and rotated as the last comes in. all
together the layout measures 5.7 metres x 2.4 metres and when operating has a hole in the centre for the controllers to operate it.

The Layout has 2 main lines that loop the whole way around + a branch line that breaks off just outside of town and leads to another smaller township. Also the original sidings that existed when the town was a major junction have been added. There are over 15 points so Trains can be shunted realistically and a turntable to turning Locomotives.

The Main Township of Wallerawang and the smaller Township of Portland
have had all the houses, shops, pubs and stations and station
buildings hand made from photos to replicate the township and the
scenery is built to resemble the farming area surrounding the town.
The scenery is fully detailed with Dams with ducks in them, rail
workers pulling up track and even a cricket match at the local park.

The layout is currently in a non working order but isn't far from
running. A new power supply is required as well as controllers (which
can be purchased at Jaycar or similar electronics stores) and will
require some sections of track (particularly in the staging area) to
be relaid. the the joints between the modules to be alligned once in
position. The modules are on fold down legs with adjustable feet and
the modules slide together on pins (some of the pins need to be put
back in place) Some of the scenery has been damaged in transport but
nothing that a weekend of working some new scenery in wouldn't fix.
Also some wiring to get power to all sections of track. and a good
vaccum to clean off the dust.

Due to the shear size It is pick up only and the Layout is located in
the Sutherland Shire, NSW. A large trailer, Ute or small truck would
be suitable for relocating to minimise more damage.

There is no Rolling stock or locomotives with it as they have been
    sold off long ago.

This Layout would suit someone who has the time to do some reserection
work to get it running and that can enjoy the use, kids love using it,
grown-up even like playing with it. It is an enjoyable hobby for young
    and old alike.

If you are interstate and interested in this item. I do not wish to
get involved with making arrangements to get a furniture removalist to
ship it. You however can make arrangements and advise me of a day and
time to pick-up, this will be at your expense.
