I don’t own that model, but plastic handrails are pretty standard. Each stanchion probably has a pin that goes into the side sill. I usually take a knife (exacto or razor blade) and come in from the top, between the stanchion and locomotive to break the glue. They should all just pop out. Just be careful not to scratch the paint. If you are repainting it, then obviously the paint doesn’t matter.
