Your memory is fine. There was Santa Fe, EMD Demo, Burlington, and Penn Central. There was a fifth roadname they called "Northwestern" but was never made. Whether or not it was supposed to be C&NW, nobody really knows.

Thanks for the photo Doug. This was my Burlington SD-45. It was sold some years ago, along with other stuff when I ran out of storage space.

Yup. That was the other SD45 road name I had.

My EMD Demo above was "detailed"by me to be more realistic ( I did that, back in those days - not so much, now) and I had a bottle of Pactra "Insignia Blue" paint that was an exact match for the the EMD blue so it went onto the handrails and fuel tanks. Silver on the trucks, of course.

Kato SD-45"s have filled all my needs for this locomotive in my primary road. Perhaps if they release units in other roads I am interested in that Kato never did I would give it a shot with the Atlas units.

Yikes that thing is ugly!!! That said, I'm sure I would have loved having one as a kid, even though the CB&Q units never wore the Chinese Red paint scheme.
