Sorry to read that you had issues with Atlas N scale.
I don't know when you acquired your RS11 units... the Classics line goes back a couple of decades.
The tooling from China may not have been returned to Atlas when Kader acquired the Sanda Kan factories.
It may be the RS11 shells were part of that issue.

This issue would seem likely be spread across HO scale as well though.
Perhaps you won't have any issues with HO unless the same things happened there

They were not the most recent release .

But the release prior to that.

Yea it sucks big-time but as I just went thru the Atlas site man there are very few main body items to be had.

Shame I used to pop $75-100 a month on spare parts doing conversions.

Hope the the walthers Life-like stuff comes thru for you n scalers.

Anyways off to slumber coach land.

    Happy 4th y'all.

I'm wondering what Atlas' time frame for releasing former LifeLike/Walthers locomotives will be.

My impression is that they will modify the frames for DCC/Sound before we see anything new under the Atlas brand.
Perhaps there may be some releases before then... but... I would rather see totally up-to-date mechanisms with the former shell tooling.

One thing I think Atlas needs to AVOID is to run products which are already over-produced by other companies.
For instance... the LifeLike E6, E7 & E8 were not very well molded (the nose contours)... plus they are already being produced by Broadway Limited and maybe Kato is going to make E7's to go with their already existing E8's.
