I gotta ask. I've never done much in N-scale, and I was out of model railroading for about three decades before diving back in. But what is the attraction of the Tropicana cars? As I go through, and sort the rolling stock from my Dad's layout I've found that he collected a huge number of Tropicana cars. There are probably 20, or 30, or more, and that's far more than any other kind of freight car (although there are a great many passenger cars from a wide variety or railroads) other than military flat cars of every description. Of course, he's not around to ask so, since you have a few, maybe you know?
Tropicana used to run a unit juice train from Bradenton, FL to NYC where the cars were parsed out to get juice to the mid Atlantic and east coast pre-PSR. It was a hotshot train, rivaling the TOFC/COFC trains in their superiority. The originally juice reefers in the 1960's were orange; the white took over later and these are the third generation.
