Train L213 led by GP-40-2 6020 at Parkwood Jct., AL [08/31/1990]. ACL and L&N lines connected here, just south of Birmingham.

 

Helper stationed at Chaska, TN on the former L&N main in east TN. CSX 38 is a GE AC44CW. [03/23/1996]

 

CSX B36-7 5905 at Oaks KY on the same day as the above shot. The 5905 was scrapped Waycross GA 12/2011.

CSX Q463 at Cassatt SC, 10/26/2013. I've read that the town was named after Alexander Cassatt, President of the PRR at the time the SAL built this line in 1900.

 

From 32 years ago today on 03/15/1993 was B23-7 3106 departing Columbia, SC on the Broad River bridge, former CN&L.
