Anyone else using Silflor?

I love the look of Silflor for weeds and grasses. Here’s a small stream, routed out into plywood, with Silflor surround.

 

Love the dried out desert look!

 

I have been using it for years mostly around ponds and streams along with horsehair for reeds.

Rick, I've always been amazed at the work you have put into the FreeMoN modules, some truly spectacular work!

If I didn't know it was a model I'd say you went out and took a photo of a real set of tracks. The amount of detail work that you have put into this scene alone is incredible, I can only imagine what the rest of your layout looks like. It would be pretty cool to see a "cab view" video of the layout.

 

A wider angle view of the field. The pine tree with the weird top is a model of a real tree that houses an eagle’s nest.

 

Darn tree, it's blocking the view of that Milw boxcar!

 

The one possible give away is that the track and ties are almost in pristine condition and not consistent with the general looks of a not so well maintained line. Other than that, it's a great photo!
