I have been fiddling around with my Marklin track pieces, and trying to come up with a John Allen Timesaver switching puzzle that I can fit on the other side of my new module.

So far I have had no luck getting it to work with Marklin secional pieces, which is what I want to use for this project. I can purchase more pieces but I have no idea what I need. Rather than spend lots of money on track I will not use, I am asking if any of you have already figured out this track plan, or if something similar exists.

I had combed the web without success, but here is a photo from the Shunting Puzzles website that shows what I am looking to do.

    Robert:

For Marklin Track geometry, look under "files" then "Marklin Track" in the Z_Scale group.

I put a color PDF there that decodes all Marklin products back in 2004.

Build with 110mm / 220mm straight, regular left / right switches and curved # 8591 track.

Those are good tips guys, from the looks of it, I just need to get a couple 8591's to do my timesaver. I might be able to borrow a couple from one of our club's members this weekend.

    Thanks!
