    John,

Have heard nothing more. I check the DCI and GJSentinel daily. If I hear anything, I'll let you know [IMG].

The only other thing I've heard is that the
plant, while accepting it last logs last Friday, has enough logs stockpiled to run until April. After that, it's anybody's guess, but it looks like it may shut down.

This is gleaned from articles in the Grand Junction Daily Sentinel.

Driving by there I can vouch for the fact that they have a huge stock pile of logs. It will be interesting to see what happens with it. Happy Railroading!!

To read a letter to the editor in today's Sentinel, the G-P waferboard plant would not be missed. The writer accuses G-P of trying to apply pressure to get more logging land, even warning that G-P will invade your backyard for aspen [IMG]
Sounds like a political mess down there, one
I'm not going to expound on in this forum.
P.S. I'm not an advocate of cutting every tree, nor am I one who wants all trees saved.
I would just like to see common sense in this
    issue.

I'm with you Bob!! Its no good when companies make threats like that, and it is equally not good when people seek to ban logging all together. Hope it works out! Happy Modeling!!
