Well, it's not ALWAYS cold in Northern Ontario. And after the first frost the Black Flies are gone. Daily, around 1100 Hrs, this little train passed by CFS Lowther on it's way from Hearst to Kap. My daughter Carol and I often went down the road to watch it amble by. The rail was VERY light, and VERY uneven, and so the "action" was better than some of the big stuff down south. And a bright sunny day for all.. ------------------ Dave Winter Owner/Operator Winter Valley Regional Railway
Thanks Dave for sharing these great pictures with us. I don't often get to see any CN engines, but once in a while they are seen in Winona, MN where I work. ------------------ Residing in BNSF's St. Croix Subdivision near Trempealeau, WI [This message has been edited by Patrick (edited 02 September 2000).]
