    Very funny guys.:teeth:

I've been using cat whiskers for antenna's since I was 12, mostly on space ships, since this is what I was mostly modeling at that time.

That's awesome Ben, I am sure the pictures dont do justice because the size so small for the amount details in it so in person it would be WOW...

Nice work Ben, Is the whole tank lasered? A pair of them blocked and strapped to a flatcar would make a fantastic model!

PS: If you take all the whiskers from one side of a kitty's face, will he lose his balance and fall down like a drunkard? :cute:

Fantastic piece of art. Are you going to release it as a kit? I take one for sure

Wish I could, but not enough whiskers in stock to supply the kits.:uhoh:

Plus the canon, they're not easy to turn at that size. I've tried to find some micro brass tubes (0.3mm) instead, but they're a pain to find.

    Hi Ben,
I'm happy to get a kit without the antenna and barrel, I have 3 cats and as a canon I will use some modified syringe needle. You could use some bronce-phospor wire aas antenna rtoo

John, yes you can get all sorts of stuff, but this is great because it's a kit and you know me... ;-)

Perfect case to Partner with David K Smith [ as is with Stonebridge Models ] for cannons Take a pole here for quantity [ 2 for me ] and see if you have enough interest. I sure hate to see results like this only on one layout where you have already spent the time. As for whiskers, if David can't supply I'll dig into our old old Maine Coon Cats inventory. There must be 50 or 60 in the box -- and those puppies, er kitties, are loooooooong.

    Ben,
Unless it's a real pain to cut the kits, I would also recommend making this tank available. 2, maybe 4 for me. That's just good work there son.

I took note of what everyone had said, I'll see what I can do.

I've just finish a major website overhaul by the way. it should be easier for me to put updates on it now.
(If you still see the old site, you'll have to refresh your browsers!)

    25 Ton Coaling station

Still working on older projects to be produced as kits, but in between, I was looking to do something else.
So I've done this coal tower.
It is designed from the W.T. Snow construction Co. drawing, I'm told that those were basically built during the end of the 30's.
In details, the coal chute has the iron balls counter weight on cables, a coal bucket with rails to replenish the tower, and plenty of other stuff.

Jeff I want to apology, as I made an assumption that these coal towers or chutes, would not be necessary in the coalfields. How wrong I was, there were several along the track in the middle of the coalfields. If you run steam , you need coal towers and hoppers or gondolas. This is a nice one.
