December 3rd, 2000. A day thatwill live in infamy. Amtrak westbound Southwest Chief #3 was 13 hours late, arriving 30 minutes after Eastbound #4! 3 locomotives broke down at different times, and it rolled into Fullerton with a BNSF HII C44-9W on the point, followed by a BN SD40-2. The first two AMD 103s were not running, but the last two were. It is possible one is supplying the HEP for the train, as 3 of the 4 broke down. An interesting specticle indeed!

    Cya down the line!

Well like I've said before. At least when our engines quit we don't fall 32,000 feet.
