The west end of the Albany Main from Voorheesville to Delanson is being rebuilt with opening scheduled in September. This is due to the east end from Voorheesville to Kenwood being now out of service due to track and condition of the bridge at Normanskill. The connection from CSX to D&H at CP VO has been repaired and temporarily trains operate via Kenwood, Albany Secondary,Selkirk Branch to CP VO.
Future plans for the east end have not been made known. Get your pictures of D&H trains west of Selkirk while you can. As of now early afternoon westbound looks to be the best time.
I guess this is good and bad as we loose the east end but gain the west end back?

This was posted on another bulletin board just yesterday (July 17th) I thought I would share with fans of the D&H on TrainBoard.
